I would say ... it's okay. The character herself is drawn quite decently; clothing and armor pieces appear good but not perfect, and the face and hair are good too. But the sword seems more like a common soldier's sword; perhaps the weapon detail could be a bit better. I checked back to the character background, but no particular mention of the exact weapon she would be using -- if she did indeed transfer from City Guard to Royal Guard, one would presume she would be allowed a slightly better quality of weapon, as a benefit of such a status.

Another thing that may be a benefit for the art as well as the story: Heraldry and Insignia. Especially for a visual story, the weapons and perhaps even armor pieces of such a royal guard unit might benefit from having some form of "royal emblem", a crest, insignia, or subtle declaration of rank, of specialization, or of sub-unit (if the Royal Guard has its own official insignia separate from the royal emblem). Basically, heraldry and insignia were the easiest way to display one's allegiance as well as specialty among military units, even moreso for royal guardsmen.

It's all just a thought; but if these artist-depictions will be part of your story, it may benefit from clarifying the above.
