First my computer decided to say it was online but refuse to connect to anything, whether web page, game DRM database(like Steam), or even just my wireless printer.

I took it to get it worked on and after about an hour or two they told me there was nothing they could do short of a full factory reset that would get it working again. I backed up what I could and finally gave in and did the reset. Reinstalled what I could and it seemed to work for the most part except for the fact that the computer had decided that Yahoo Mail, Google, Facebook, and more were all "untrusted connections" and wouldn't even allow me to add exceptions to let me to access them. Nothing I tried would straighten that mess out but after a week or so it just fixed itself, several days after my last attempt to fix it.

Now I can't view any of my notifications on here and there is no "Submit" or "Post" button when I try commenting on anything. So I can't see anything anyone has said or make any comments of my own on anything. I don't know what is going on.
*EDIT* And now for some unknown reason, after several times of refreshing the page and clearing the cache and so on to no effect, the notifications page is finally loading...seemingly...properly. *END EDIT*
*EDIT 2* Now the "Submit Comment" button is back again. This is weird and irritating...*END EDIT 2*

To make matters worse I no longer have my Photoshop CS3 because I lost the registration code so I can't reinstall it! Ugh... :bademoticon:

While I will refrain from claiming "I can fix it" I would first ask, What are you using for an anti-virus, firewall, or internet-security software? Problems with connections could possibly be a firewall or security utility being somewhat overly-aggressive when it comes to outbound or inbound connections.

Not much of an idea, I know, but it's worth checking various things like the firewall rules and exceptions. I've also had problems after upgrading to Windows 10, and I ended up making a few tweaks to some of the rules.
